Why yoga?

Due to my recent injury and refocusing my efforts on my body and soul I have been doing some research on yoga. Here is an article I found that influenced me to begin yoga. Yoga is not only for flexibility but also strength, prevents cartilage and joint breakdown, increases your blood flow (I have spider veins and maybe this just might help), maintains your nervous system, gives you inner strength are just some of the positive effects that caught my eye.
